Safe Working
By law, all employers and employees must comply with the relevant Health and Safety Standards issued by the HSE. Working at heights can be particularly hazardous for engineers and the general public alike and all engineers (and indeed other trades) working with ladders are bound by law to follow HSE safety procedures and to use correctly certified equipment. Ignoring this can put the general public and the engineer at risk. If caught, the engineer, the employer and the owner of the property being worked on can be prosecuted. At Yorkshire Aerials, we have been trained to work safely at heights by the CAI (Confederation of Aerial Industries). These courses are particularly aimed at the Aerial installation industry. Working safely minimises the risks to you, your property and of course to ourselves! BE SAFE - NOT SORRY! |
